Pace is in Santa Rosa County Fl and the population is designated at 34,235 people as of 2108 census. It is also part of the Pensacola Metropolitan Statistical Area and is the 2nd largest community just behind Navarre with its population. Pace through the years has evolved and is a desired location to live and is now known as a suburb community. Most people say, “Pace is the Place” and they are speaking about growth today as many builders have taken Pace and built many beautiful homes and subdivisions. Pace was first known in 1912 by the United States Census and it gets its name from its founder James G. Pace, who once owned paper, large lumber and turpentine productions that operated in the Pace area. Commercial growth has also been strong, restaurant chains, retail chains and big companies like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Walmart and Target now reside into the Pace area. Florida town and Pea Ridge are now considered to be neighborhoods within the Pace community. Schools in Pace are administered by Santa Rosa County. Pace is a great place to live and it is located within 30 minutes of the Pensacola Beach. Welcome home to Pace.
